Great location just a stone's throw away from the lake, making it perfect for a relaxing morning stroll along the lakeside. I felt secure and at ease being so close to the water and the nearby town of Limoges. the central location in the city was very convenient. 🌅

It was an incredible base for sightseeing in Bessines-sur-Gartempe. the staff were very friendly and provided useful information. - the standard double room had a bedroom with a wonderful view. - the food was savory with a wide range of options.

The hotel had a beautiful lakeside location with stunning views. The private car park with direct access to the hotel and lake was a big plus. The hosts were friendly and provided excellent hospitality. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant, it was one of the best meals we had during our weekend getaway. The hotel was also conveniently located near a picturesque lake, which was perfect for a leisurely walk and stretching our legs. The nearby amenities, such as a patisserie, bar, and shops, made our stay even more convenient.

One of the downsides was that the bathroom was quite chilly and lacked a radiator or heated towel rail, which would have been helpful during the off-season. Additionally, the lack of mention of this to the proprietor was a missed opportunity to address the issue.

The location of this lakeside gem is mind-blowing, with a private car park and direct access to the bar/hotel and the beautiful lake. The hospitality and food are super, and the area is perfect for exploring. A 45-minute walk around the lake is a jaw-dropping way to start or end your day. There are also great amenities nearby, including a wonderful patisserie, bar, and small shop in the town. Plus, a large Intermarche and Aldi for supplies. The hosts, Glynn, Paula and Lewis, are amazing and full of knowledge. The food is excellent, and the Menu du Jour offers incredible value. The continental breakfast, with fresh bread, pastries, and fruit, is simply fantastic. Plus, the hotel's proximity to the A20 near Limoges is a bonus. we had a splendid stay and will definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommended for a stopover or longer break.
